Lavender Gin Sour

Ingredients

2oz Gin  /  1oz Cahoots Lavender
1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 Egg White (optional)

Method

Combine all ingredients in shaker, dry shake first for best results, then add ice for a quick hard shake to chill drink.  Double strain into chilled coupe or rocks glass, garnish with lavender sprig.

For an interesting variation try Lavender Ramos Gin Fizz. Add .5oz cream or half and half in the shaker (the egg whites are required for this variation). Hard shake until nearly all ice has melted, fine strain into a collins glass and top with soda. Sip with a long straw, no ice, no garnish. Ultra refreshing and worth the extra work!
